My story ‘Fiddler’s Green’ is published in Thrill Me, edited by Lynette Washington. I’m thrilled (see what I did there?) to be alongside amazing authors such as Susan Midalia, Carmel Bird and Ben Brooker (among many others) and in the company of my Flinders colleagues Dr Alex Vickery-Howe and Dr Sean Williams.
Dr Alex Vickery-Howe, Dr Sean Williams and I launched a new writing podcast this year. Word Docs – possibly the best and worst name ever for a writing podcast. You can find us on Apple, Spotify, Stitcher, or wherever you get your podcasts.
2019 was spent writing and editing Bound for Glory, which is in stores now.
While I’ve had lots of short fiction published this year, 2018 has essentially been the Year of the Cowboy. Check out my alter-ego Tess’s ‘Frontiers of the Heart’ series. It’s rollicking and raunchy and a hell of a ride.
In huge news, my alter-ego Tess LeSue has just signed a three book deal with Penguin Random House USA. Bound for Eden will be released in June 2018, followed closely by the sequel Bound for Sin.
Very proud to be a co-editor of and contributor to Crush: stories about love. The collection was inspired by the 2016 Romance Writers of Australia ‘Ain’t Love Grand’ conference and the Flinders University Speakeasy connected readings night. I had the enormous pleasure of working with two of my ex-Honours students, Jess and Simone, and the wonderful Lynette and Anna from Midnight Sun.
